Jazz Night
Two weeks ago was my work Employee Association Christmas Party. Every year they do a big raffle and give away tons of big prizes. -Around the office everyone knows that I never win any of the raffles... for example: last year, at our department party I was probably the only person who didn't get my name drawn for a prize... Well, guess what? At the party, my name was drawn for the NuSkin Jazz tickets package! James and I were able to use the tickets last Monday {which went down as on of the best Mondays in my life}.
We got free parking passes and tickets to have dinner before the game at the restaurant on the top floor. James and I felt VIP all night long.
Our seats were center court, sixth row!! So much fun. After dinner they gave us dessert and drinks to-go, so we could eat them while watching the game.
During half time, James and I were able to go to the Sponsor's Lounge - more free drinks and treats to take back to your seat!

Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! This past weekend, James and I flew down to Las Cruces, NM to spend time with James family. We flew back to Utah yesterday so I could be home in time for my big event: Parade of Lights. I am coordinating Provo's first annual Parade of Lights on Black Friday. I am glad that James and I were able to be with family even though I will be working during the holidays. Since we spent Thanksgiving in Utah by ourselves :) we decided to do the nontraditional Thanksgiving meal and eat out!
We went to Cracker Barrel for their Thanksgiving Dinner Special. It was sooo good. Tatum stayed in Utah too, so she spent the day with us. The day has been so fun and so relaxing. I love the holidays!
After having our Thanksgiving meal, we went and saw the movie Tangled. The movie was so cute and funny. I want to go see it again. We of course had to sport the 3D glasses.
This is the best picture I could get of James. He is always a tease when it comes to getting a picture of just him. I had to delete about 10 pictures until I could get a cute one. I sure do think he is cute :)
If anyone is in town this weekend, come to the parade tomorrow!! It will be on Center Street in Provo at 5:30 pm. The parade will be followed by the Lights On Ceremony!

Kinect!
James got an early Christmas present this past weekend, the Kinect! We played it all weekend with my family in Las Vegas. It is so much fun and very addicting. I think my whole body is sore from playing the game. Whats fun about the game is that it captures pictures of you while you are playing. Here are some pictures of us having too much fun :)

Halloween Carnival Part 1
The events that I put on remind me of planning a wedding. So many months of preparation, and it is all over in one day. Friday was the Halloween Carnival at The Center, and it went so good! We had over 1,000 people come to the event.
Here is the walk through of the Alice in Wonderland Activity Maze:
The Door Room ~ When you enter Alice in Wonderland, the first room you come to is the door room. In the middle of the room is a table with "eat me" cakes and "drink me" drinks :) Each kid got their own and were told to take a bite so we could fit through the "little door". Then the kids were asked which door was the right door to go through. The white rabbit then opens the right door, but behind the door is a smaller door, and then an even smaller door. Just the right size for the kids to walk right through. (The adults had to duck through :)
The Flower Garden ~ After you go through the door, you are in the flower garden. There was a musical piano on the floor and all of the decorations were musical toys.
The Caterpillar ~ The next room is where you can find the caterpillar. As you walk by you can reach out and pop the fog bubbles! The kids loved popping the bubbles and watching the fog disperse.
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum ~ You then get to hear a skit from the Tweedles and pick an oyster to win a prize!
The Cheshire Cat~ You then head into the forest where the Cheshire Cat is. He is always pulling pranks, so be careful he might spray you with silly string!
Mad Hatter and Alice~ The kids then get to join the Mad Hatter and Alice at their tea party. They were able to sit at the table and make their own Italian soda. It was a very merry unbirthday.
The Red Queen~ You then walk through the hedge maze that leads you to the Red Queen. The kids get to play croquet with a flamingo and a hedge hog, and if they miss "then off with their heads". As you exit Wonderland you look through the doorknob and see Alice sleeping on the other side.
