Truth or Dare

When I was little, one of my favorite things to do was to make my own board games. I have collected and saved everything I have ever made when I was little, so I have a pretty good collection of homemade games ;) One of the board games that I have made is called Truth or Dare. It is a pretty basic board game, you roll the die, depending on what space you land on is what card you draw, and you have to follow the questions or commands, and first one to the end wins...

The thing is I made this game so long ago, I don't actually remember making it or coming up with the dares or truths... It is hilarious. The other night I had a bunch of my friends over since James was in California and we all played the game. I can't believe how much fun it was and what a conversation starter it was. It is actually a great game to play with people you just met because of the conversations it created! Here are some pictures of us playing the game:

You Gotta Love Home Videos

My cousin Spencer was organizing his family's home videos and came across this great footage of me... When I saw it I had to post it on my blog. It is pretty dang hilarious. I don't remember being such a violent child, but I guess I have always been a little aggressive... This is a home video with me and my cousin Jami. Enjoy.

Disney's UP!

James and I did a promotion this past weekend for Disney's new movie UP! This promotion was great because we didn't have to worry about getting kicked out of venues like we usually do since this one had a set location. We didn't have to worry about being outside and freezing because we were inside the movie theater the whole time. We didn't have to worry about reaching our numbers because the amount of promo materials were realistic this time. I loved this promotion, it was way fun and I got to work it with my sister! Here are some fun pictures of the promo.

Living to 100

I love taking different kinds of quizzes and I found a great life calculator quiz online that calculates your life expectancy based upon your habits and medical and family history! According to my lifestyle right now I will live to 91!

This quiz is pretty neat because it will also tell you what you are doing right and what you can still do to improve your life expectancy and how long you will be healthy! Check it out!

Snowboarding 2009

James and I only went snowboarding once last year so we are so happy that we have been able to go boarding a bunch of times this winter! Last year we were so busy with school and work that we really didn't have a life... This year we were also were able to get a season pass to Sundance Resort (thank you Spencer!), which is awesome because it is so close and convenient. We have also been able to go boarding at Park City a couple of times and hang out with Craig and Josephine. James and I also got to snowboarded at Snowbasin (which is my new favorite resort).

Here are some pictures so far of this snow season:

Five Love Languages

I found a fun quiz online based on Gary Chapman's book, The Five Love Languages. This book is awesome and really helps you understand more how people express love. I think it is so important to not only understand your own love language, but also your husbands. So I made James take the quiz too, haha. So here are our results ;)
My Primary Love Language: Physical Touch

Whitney's Detailed Results:
Physical Touch: 9
Acts of Service:7
Quality Time:7
Words of Affirmation:4
Receiving Gifts: 3

James's Primary Love Language: Words of Affirmation

James's Detailed Results:
Words of Affirmation: 9
Acts of Service:6
Receiving Gifts: 6
Physical Touch:5
Quality Time:4

Unhappiness in relationships is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. It can be helpful to know what language you speak and what language those around you speak.

Celebrity Look-alike

Okay, so my favorite game is matching up people I know with celebrities... I do it all the time and I don't really realize that I am doing it. It usually happens when I am watching a movie and an actor reminds me of someone I know, and I can't stop thinking about it. So, you might not think that they "look alike" but there is something about their demeanor that is familiar to me. Here are a few match ups that I am proud of... Let me know what you think!

Okay, so I think James looks like Paul Rudd.

I was watching Mamma Mia and Amanda Seyfried reminds me so much of my sister's best friend Lisa!

I think my friend Mike looks like Bradley Cooper:

I think my best friend Molly reminds me of Scarlett Johansson:

I think that my friend Andrea looks like Amy Smart:
