'Tis the Season

James and I have gone to see the SLC Temple lights 3 times now! We first went with James' family during Thanksgiving, and then with my Young Women's group, and then with my sisters when Chip and Alex were in town :)

I am now a professional reindeer handler! I booked a couple reindeer for Provo's Lights On Ceremony. The kids were so cute. They were asking me if they lived in the north pole and if they could fly :)

Getting ready to go to the Skullcandy Holiday Party in front of our enormous Christmas Tree!

Driving home to Vegas for Christmas!! I got to take off a whole week of work. It was so nice to sleep in every day and hang out with my family.

James is growing out his beard until the new year :)

James and I spoiled each other for Christmas :) He got tons of hats, socks and clothes. I surprised him with a #12 Rogers Packers Jersey and new shoes. He got me a new suit case, a kicker for my car, clothes, and perfume.

Its been such a good Christmas Holiday. James and I have both been really busy with work and church and everything else... It has been really nice to take some time with family and friends and think of all the things we have been blessed with.

Skullcandy Holiday Party

James and I went to Skullcandy's Holiday Party up at Park City Live. Our good friend Britnie planned the whole party! She did such an amazing job. There was a photo booth, sketch artists, street artists, delicious food, Skullcandy m&ms, DIY carmel apples and cookies, live entertainment, etc..! Here are some pictures from the event!

Happy Fifth Year Anniversary!

Over dinner I tried to list my favorite memory for each year we have been married. As I was reminiscing I realized that there were so many great memories it was really hard to just pick one.  But here is my list:

Second Year: Buying our first home

I am so grateful for all the crazy adventures I have been able to experience with James, all the good and the bad. I am so thankful that I get to experience life with him by my side. It was so fun thinking about all the things we have been through together these past 5 years. He is my best friend and I love him so much!

80's Photo Booth

I made some props for my Uncle's Surprise Birthday Party this past weekend. His birthday was 80's themed, so I made some over sized buttons for the family to wear, cassette props, and of course a purple boom box. I found the images online, enlarged them and mounted them onto craft foam.

Below are some ridiculously awesome pictures from the party :)

Happy Birthday Greg!

YW in Excellence
{Arise and Shine}

Our Young Women in Excellence Program is coming up this Tuesday and I designed some decorations to go along with the theme, "Arise and Shine Forth". The girls have been preparing for this night to showcase their achievements and celebrate their personal progress. Here are some examples of what the decorations will look like for the program:

Planet of the Apes

For work, we dress up every year for Halloween. For years my boss has always wanted the staff to dress up as Planet of the Apes. It has become a funny joke around the office - so some of the staff members decided to actually dress up as apes this year.

Thats me on the left! :)

We accidentally showed up in the same costume. Great minds think alike.

Yes, that is me, in the middle, reading the magazine. :) Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

This past month has been a busy one! James and I have been working a lot! James has been traveling for work recently. He was gone for two weeks to Texas and Las Vegas and I have been busy working on the Halloween Carnival for Provo City. Here are some pictures of our Eventful Halloween!

[Ghost Buster at the Halloween Carnival]

[James decorated our front house for the trick or treaters]

We had 16 pumpkins from our garden! We have so many we don't know what to do with them! On Sunday we had a pumpkin carving party - to get rid of a few :)

I found these awesome Party Rock glasses at the Halloween Store while we were geting some Halloween Decorations :)

This will be our first year home on Halloween. James is so excited for the trick or treaters. He bought tons of candy to hand out :)

Skateboarding Competition

On Saturday, we had our last Skateboarding Competition at The Center - Provo is building a brand new Recreation Center and a new Skate Park! Thank you Board of Provo for judging the event and thank you Neff for providing so many awesome prizes to all of the participants! It was an awesome comp and the kids had such a good time.
