Swiss Days

This past weekend my awesome aunt Jami invited me to go up to Midway for Swiss Days! I had never heard about it before and it sounded fun especially since it was going to be just a girls outing. She was so cute and organized the whole trip!! We all met at her house and carpooled up to Park City. It was such a blast hanging out with just the girls. There were a total of ten of us that stayed the weekend. Jami got a rad condo in Park City that she and her friends stayed at and the rest of us stayed the night at Josephine's Condo, which I am in love with! I thought Swiss Days was a really neat event, but it was so crowded! There were people all over in that little town! I did like all of the cute booths they had even though I didn't buy a single thing! But of course, after we had seen the whole event, we had to hit up the outlet mall in Park City! I got a sweet deal on some Van's shoes for $15....Here are some pictures of the weekend!

In this picture there is Jami's sister Chanel, my sister Alex, my cousin-in-law Carissa, Jami, me, and my sister-in-law-to-be Josephine!

The food lines were out of control... They had a lot of yummy food, but I did not want to stand in all of the lines.

This was the coolest playhouse ever! Haha, aren't Jos and I just so cute!

You can see in this picture how packed it was!

This is at Josephine's condo. She has a hot tub on her patio and a sweet hamick. I loved her place so much! James and I will definitely have to come visit more often ;)

So it was pretty much a fun weekend! We will definitely have to do a girls thing again!

College Graduate!

Yep, that's right! This past weekend I graduated from BYU! I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Recreation Managment and Youth Leadership from the College of Health and Human Performance! It was such an amazing experience because I was able to spend the whole time with my family. My family drove up from Las Vegas to be there and also James's Dad came up from New Mexico. James's brother Craig and his fiance Josephine came down from Park City. Also my grandparents were home from their mission in Finland so they were able to be there and James's grandma, was there too! It was so awesome to see my family and spend time with them. I love them so much!

It feels so good to be done with school! Now I guess I have to get a real job ;) I am currently working for the City of Provo in their Recreation Department. I plan and organize their special events that they put on for the community. I also just started working for the 4-H Afterschool program at Canyon View Jr. High. I coordinate the programs and clubs at the Jr. High and the special events. It has been such a great experience, and I love working in the recreation field. Sometimes it doesn't even feel like work...;)

Here are some pictures of the exciting day!

Here is my family sitting in the crowd!

I love these guys!

The Ultimate Date List

So lately I have been making lists for everything... I always think of things or come up with ideas and forget about them... So this list thing all started when I wanted to write down all of my favorite movies that I absolutely love. I didn't realize how many movies there were that I love and a lot of them are movies that have come out in the past year! But anyway, I have been having a lot of fun with it and one of the lists I have made is the Ultimate Date List!

Whenever James and I want to go do something fun or have friends who want to do something with us I feel like we can never think of what to do! Especially since my favorite thing to do is watch a movie, it can be really easy to just do dinner and a movie. I thought that it would be really neat to have a list of date ideas and then all you would have to do is look at the list and choose something fun to do. Or the list could possibly spark a fun idea!

So I wrote down everything that I could possibly think of that you could do on a date or any activity that you could do here in Utah. I think that I have come up with a pretty good list! It ended up being around 4 pages long! I have a link so you can view the awesome list ;) If you think of a new date/activity idea let me know and I will add it to the list!

Jim Sturgess

Ok, so I cannot get enough of Across the Universe Soundtrack. The Beatles are amazing, but even more I love the sound of Jim Sturgess's voice! I just rewatched the movie last week and I forgot how much I love the music in it! All of my favorite parts in the movie are sung by Jim sturgess. My most favorite part in the movie is the Bowling Alley where he sings "I have just seen a face". It is the cutest part of the movie. I also love "Revolution" and "All My Loving"!! I put all of the best songs onto my music playlist. -so check them out! If you have not seen this movie you should! And you should get the soundtrack!
